Discover the mark that Modernism left on the city of Palma through a number of early 20th century buildings whose creation can be attributed to the spirit of innovation and aesthetics that characterized this century. Modernism was brought to Mallorca by emblematic exponents of Catalan Modernism that include Antoni Gaudí i Cornet and Lluís Domènech i Montaner. Buildings like the Grand Hotel, Can Casassayas or Can Forteza Rey add a colourful touch to the sobriety of the mansions in Palma's old quarter.
